We had limited funds to offer bursaries to postgraduate students, those working in the third sector, and cases of hardship, funded by the Journal of Law and Society, and Social and Legal Studies – An International Journal.  Eligible persons were able to apply for a bursary to contribute towards reasonable travel and/or accommodation costs associated with attending the conference, and were asked to only request assistance for the costs they were unable to cover so that we can support the maximum number of delegates – and to please note that an application is not a guarantee of funding.

We are lucky enough to have two free places for PhD students, available by lottery draw, funded by Patricia Tuitt.  You must be presenting on refugees, the EU, or postcolonial theory to be eligible.  The lottery is being organised by Patricia Tuitt, so please email law@patriciatuitt.com for more information.  The deadline is 4th February, 2019.

The deadline to apply for a bursary was 12pm on 26th January.
